Pharmasave stores have a strong, positive profile that Pharmasave has earned as an active, contributing community citizen.

From coast to coast, Pharmasave supports numerous charitable events that touch the lives of many Canadians.

For example, Pharmasave stores have shown their support for the Canadian Cancer Society by selling daffodil pins during the month of April.

Our 7-year total contribution to this cause is over $370,000, with Pharmasave being designated a National Pin Partner

of the Canadian Cancer Society.

Pharmasave supports several important charities in British Columbia, including raising more than $2.2 million over the past

25 years in support of The Children’s Charity for BC’s children with special needs and regular contributions to other organizations

such as the Canucks for Kids Fund.

In Alberta,

not only do stores contribute to many local charities within their own communities, there is also passionate support

for improving the lives of children. The Western Region’s annual charity golf tournament has raised over $215,000 to date

for Dreams Take Flight, which flies chronically or terminally ill children to Disneyland for a carefree day at the Happiest Place

on Earth. In the 13 years of the tournament an additional $130,000 was donated to other charitable organizations.

Pharmasave stores in Central Canada help children with Type 1 Diabetes realize the dream of going to summer camp; raising

over $65,000 for D-Camps, a program that empowers children to self-manage diabetes in a supportive, nurturing environment.

In Ontario, stores in the Niagara region also give back to their communities, creating a Leadership Match donation program

with the United Way, ultimately raising over $250,000.

Giving back to the community in Nova Scotia is exemplified by activities in Colchester County, where store teams have

raised over $250,000 for the Colchester Regional Hospital Foundation and also support many other community events

and organizations such as United Way, Juvenile Diabetes and the Colchester Food Bank
